Your content and data are not used to train AI models by default. You must explicitly opt in via Account Settings → Privacy → AI Data Contribution.
We use AI models to analyze your learning history, interests, and progress to surface relevant courses and learning paths. These suggestions are personalized but never final — you always browse freely.
AI-assisted tools help our Trust & Safety team flag potentially policy-violating content for human review. No content is removed solely by AI — a human reviewer makes the final decision.
AI improves search relevance by understanding query intent, synonyms, and learning context so you find better matches faster.
Instructors may optionally use AI-powered tools to generate course outlines, quiz questions, and subtitles. Use of these tools is opt-in and clearly labeled in the instructor dashboard.
AI may assist in categorizing and routing support tickets to the appropriate team. All responses to users are reviewed or written by human support staff.
We are committed to transparency about the limits of AI decision-making on the Knowlify Courses platform. AI is a tool to assist humans — not replace human judgment on matters that affect your account or rights.
AI does not make autonomous decisions about account suspensions, bans, or access restrictions — all enforcement actions require human review.
AI does not set or change course prices, payouts to instructors, or financial terms without human authorization.
AI does not read or analyze your private messages or support tickets beyond what is necessary for routing or spam filtering, and no model is trained on your private communications.
AI does not generate fake reviews, ratings, or enrollment numbers.
AI does not make hiring, admissions, or credentialing decisions.
Instructors have granular control over how AI interacts with their course content. From your Instructor Dashboard → Course Settings, you can: (a) opt in or out of AI-powered subtitle generation; (b) opt in or out of AI-assisted quiz and assessment suggestions; (c) view a log of any AI-assisted edits applied to your content; (d) request removal of AI-generated elements and replacement with manually authored content. Knowlify Courses will never apply AI-generated content to an instructor's course without the instructor's explicit opt-in, except for internal moderation purposes not visible to learners.
By default, your personal data, learning history, uploaded content, and course materials are NOT used to train external AI models or to improve third-party foundation models. This is the default OFF state. If you wish to contribute your content and usage data to improve Knowlify Courses' own internal recommendation and moderation models, you may opt in voluntarily through your Account Settings → Privacy → AI Data Contribution. You may revoke this opt-in at any time, and previously contributed data will be removed from future training runs. Knowlify Courses does not sell or license your content to third-party AI model providers.
We are committed to being open about where and how AI is used. You can identify AI-assisted features on the platform by looking for the “AI Assisted” label. Knowlify Courses publishes an annual AI Transparency Report summarizing how AI is used, model categories, error rates where available, and any changes to this policy. We welcome questions and feedback about our AI practices at [email protected]. This policy will be updated as our AI capabilities evolve, and material changes will be communicated via email and in-platform notification.
