Community Guidelines

Last updated · March 2026 · Effective · March 1, 2026

Knowlify Courses is a community of learners, instructors, and creators. These guidelines exist to ensure that everyone has a safe, respectful, and productive experience. They apply to all content, communications, and conduct on the Platform, including courses, Q&A, reviews, and any community features.
01

What's allowed

Respectful, constructive discussions in course Q&A and community forums

Honest, balanced reviews based on your genuine experience with a course

Sharing relevant resources and materials that supplement course content

Asking questions, seeking clarification, and helping fellow learners

Providing feedback to instructors in a professional and respectful manner

Creating original course content that educates, informs, or develops skills

02

What's prohibited

Hate speech & discrimination

Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.

Harassment & bullying

Targeting, threatening, intimidating, or harassing any individual or group, including sending repeated unwanted messages, posting personal information without consent (doxxing), or making malicious statements intended to harm someone's reputation.

Spam & unsolicited promotion

Posting unsolicited advertisements, promotional material, affiliate links, or repetitive content with no educational value. Cross-posting identical content across multiple courses or threads.

Plagiarism & academic dishonesty

Submitting or publishing content that is not your own without proper attribution. Instructors must not present third-party content as original work without a license or explicit permission from the rights holder.

Misleading or deceptive content

Creating courses, descriptions, or reviews that contain false, misleading, or exaggerated claims. Artificially inflating reviews, ratings, or enrollment figures through fake accounts or incentivized manipulation.

Illegal content

Content that facilitates, encourages, or instructs illegal activity, including but not limited to hacking/unauthorized access, fraud, drug manufacturing, weapons trafficking, child exploitation, or any other unlawful conduct.

03

Content standards for instructors

Instructors are held to a higher standard because they are publishing content to the entire Knowlify Courses learner community. In addition to the general prohibited conduct above, instructors must ensure that:

01

All course content is original or properly licensed — no unauthorized use of third-party materials.

02

Course descriptions, titles, and learning objectives accurately represent the course content.

03

Content is appropriate for the declared skill level and audience.

04

No sponsored or affiliate content is embedded in courses without clear disclosure to Knowlify Courses and learners.

05

Personal data of students encountered through the Platform is never collected, stored, or used outside of the Platform.

06

Courses do not contain malware, phishing links, or any attempts to compromise learner devices or accounts.

04

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines are handled progressively based on severity and recurrence. Knowlify Courses reserves the right to skip steps for severe violations.

01
Warning

First-time or minor violations typically result in a written warning and removal of the offending content. The user is notified and given an opportunity to correct the behavior.

02
Suspension

Repeated violations, moderate offenses, or failure to comply after a warning may result in a temporary account suspension (ranging from 7 to 90 days), during which access to the Platform is restricted.

03
Permanent ban

Severe violations, continued misconduct, or patterns of harmful behavior will result in permanent termination of your account. Banned users may not create new accounts. We may also report egregious violations to law enforcement.
